Participants and ACCHOs are primary owners of the data they collect, which aligns with the principles of Aboriginal self-determination and control. Ownership delegation is the responsibility of individuals sitting on a Data Access Committee (DAC). This committee assesses the benefit of partnering with the researcher (and Institution) to their community.
